| The three acres on which Santa Fe Wild West Inc is located boasts a rich Western history. Owned by Buff Douthitt from 1970 through 2006, it has featured a tack shop, a bunkhouse for movie wranglers and became, in essence, a “back lot” for many Western productions. “We housed wagons, stage coaches, as many as 60 movie horses as well as 20 steer at various times,” reminisces Buff Douthitt. “It seemed fated for our company to find this terrific and historic ‘Western’ site for our office,” says Rosemary Thompson. | | | |
